After much debate, I have decided to start a food blog. The quality and variety of my diet is so profound, I just could not hold off any longer! So here we go.
First of all, I live in Louisville, KY. Recently, the better half and I purchased a beautiful home in Crescent Hill. The main reason being that we could walk down to all the great restaurants and shops in Crescent Hill and Clifton. This blog will show you why if you don't already know.
The first on an ever growing list of great places to nosh is Blue Dog Bakery. First of all, they have the best bread in town. So much so, that when the bakers go on vacation, customers freak out! Where will they get their blue dog bread? Is the sky falling? Oh no!
Second, they have now opened for the evening on Thursdays through Saturday for tapas. Follow the link and bring your drool cup. The best part is, the owners raised and cured the pork themselves! We tried the charcuterie board, the onion jam and arugula pizza, and the escargot! Unbelievable! We paired it with a nice white from 2008. I am salivating just thinking about it!
